Mac's New Adventures

Mac had a busy week last week. She is getting so big and I can't believe it. 16 weeks! Mac got her ears pierced. She did so good. Only cried for a minute! :) Mac is still having problems with her runny diapers, so after talking to the nurse a couple times last week we decided to let Mac try some cereal to see if it would help. Well Mac absolutely loves eating the cereal...but I think It is because she likes playing in it. As soon as she takes a bite...she puts her whole hand in her mouth. But it didn't solve Macs problem...:( Her runny diapers started all over again and have to get a stool sample and bring it to the lab. Dr. thinks it rotavirus. So we will see what comes of that. Other than that Mac is growing and learning new things everyday! :)

Fathers Day.

We didn't do much on Father's Day. Mitch and I both worked. I must add in there that Mitch isn't very fond of Father's day since his Dad isn't around anymore. But I did what I could to make it special for him! I made Mitch his request for dinner which was Chicken Vegetable Chowder, and a layered butter cake, with chocolate frosting.

Happy 3 Months! 

I believe Chopper realized how much he loved his little sister while we were gone... he wouldn't leave her side for the first couple days. The last couple nights Mac really fights her sleep until she gets her stories read to her! :) So since Tuesday morning Mac has had diarrhea...nonstop diarrhea like at least one dirty diaper every 2 hours, so after calling the nurse about it twice (once about the stools, and once about the horrible diaper rash she now has), I decided to make her an appointment and took her in this morning. Didn't get to see her regular doctor..which stunk. :( But They couldn't really figure out what it was since she isn't running a fever, is still eating, and is still herself. They told me it could just be her body going through a little stage. They gave me two cans of formula to try to see if it was her formula(this dr. told me that she didn't really believe in switching formulas, that it usually didn't work). If she is still having constant diarrhea then we have to bring her back in Monday. Her weight was looking good while we were in there..went from 10lbs 11oz, to 13lbs, 10oz. They gave me a prescription diaper rash cream also. Well we tried giving her the other brand of formula, but Mac won't eat it:( So she is eating what she was on before. Still had the diarrhea all day, I hope it stops and soon, poor girl and her little butt. :(

Happy Birthday Chopper/Mac's First Road Trip

 I got to play catch up since its been a little bit since I have been on here! My first baby turned 6 on the 22nd of May. I can't believe it. :) Chopper is the Best. We have had since he was 8 weeks old. He is the most loving, caring, and friendliest dog around! Wouldn't trade him for anything! He can make any bad day better!

We went to Chicago the first weekend in June for  a very close Friend of Mine's Wedding...It was Great. Pamela got married Friday the 1st of June. We left that Tuesday night about 10:30. My Little Sister came with us. Mac did great it took about 10 hours..with stopping. Mac slept all but the last 2 hours, and wasn't fussy at all. She did great!

Wednesday we didn't do much, We went out to lunch (Got a Yummy Beef Sandwich), went to a few stores trying to find Mac a couple White Sox Onesizies (no luck, couldn't find any in her size). Then we just went back to Eileen's house; relaxed, had dinner, spent time with Pam and Kevin, and Eileen's brother flew in from Seattle that night. 

Thursday we got up...Had some yummy flat pancakes, that Steph was dying to have made by Eileen herself. Then we got ready and headed out, We went to the Carter's store by Eileen's house, and to another store to look for White Sox stuff. ( We finally found some in her size, yay!) Found some great deals at Carters, I wish we had one here..Mitch probably doesn't though! :) Then we drove to St. Charles (where the wedding was going to be), checked into out hotel and got ready for rehearsal.(I was in the wedding, as a bridesmaid). :) Went to Rehearsal and Dinner(very yummy), Jewel, and then back to the hotel for bed!

Friday was Wedding Day! Had a Blast. Mac and Steph came and hung out with us girls while we got our hair and make up done. Mitch went out to the shooting range with Kevin and his groomsmen. Wedding was great. Mac was Awesome. We Partied til' it was over...Mac slept with the music and All. :)

Saturday we got up ate breakfast with everyone. Then checked out and headed back to Boiling Brook so We could meet up with my girlfriends (Lauren, Stephanie, Tiffany and Rachel) from gradeschool for lunch! We did a little shopping, went to lunch, then headed to Chicago, and Stayed at my Grandparents. We had Dinner with Grandma (yummy pizza!), played some aggravation, and relaxed. Got up Sunday morning and headed back!  Mac was great on the Way Home! :)  Can't Wait til' We go back in September for Tiffany and Andy's Wedding!
