It seems I can only find time to get on here only once a month. Some days, I am not sure how I keep myself sane from not being bored, but I just can't seem to find time to get on here! I have really been working on Michaela's scrapbook, not thinking I will have her first year done by the time she is one but thats ok! We are not going to do anything big for Mac's birthday, just having our parents and siblings over for some cake and presents. This year hasn't started off on the right foot, and next year we will probably have a bigger party for her, one that she will want to open the presents and be more excited about. So the Friday before her birthday Mac has her one year photo shoot, Saturday, (weather permitting) we are going to go to the zoo, park and out to eat, and Sunday we are just going to have family over for cake and presents. I think that will be a good 1st birthday weekend. Where has the time gone(seems I am always saying this...). I can't believe 11 months ago I was counting down the weeks, then days til our princess would arrive and that we would finally become parents. Being a mom has always been something I have dreamed of becoming and it is truly the best feeling in the WHOLE WORLD. :)
Michaela can do so much for her age, its amazing how smart babies are and how fast they change. When looking back at pictures it is crazy to think she use to be so little and have so little hair...(ha! Mitch and I were just excited she had hair, and looking back now, she barely had any! ha!) Michaela is
walking running through the house, has 6 teeth(and seems there one or 2 more trying to come in!), talking lots(she can say good, car, here you go, mama, dada, go away, baba(bottle)., cookie and bubbles (she obsessed with bubble guppies!!! ) And yes she knows what all these words mean ), she is starting to climb all over stuff (yay, for all this fun!), she plays peek a boo, can help sing(by sing I may clap and do the motions with ya!) patty cake, and the itsy bitsy spider. And her new thing is going to get her books out when she wants you to read them to her! Michaela gets into everything and I have had to really learn how to leave a mess a be, cause If I don't it just reappears after I clean it up. Michaela loves bubble guppies (on Nick JR.), first thing she does when she wakes up is says "bubbles" and points at the TV. Loves dancing to Music, she is a very good dancer! ;) Mac absolutely loves going outside, and loves her baths! And for all of you wondering her sleeping in her crib hasn't worked out very well. But starting yesterday We started naps in there, and by starting naps in there I mean I let her fall asleep on the couch and I moved her to her crib we got 20 minutes, its a start! I can't do the whole "cry-it-out" at nap time, because I do daycare and all the kids have nap time at the same time. You live and you learn, next baby will be in his/her crib from the start! Michaela has so much silliness, so many laughs and smiles that just when something isn't going ok...you just look at her and she makes everything seem ok! She is always so Happy, and Always has a smile on her face. We are Truly blessed! Next Post will be filled with pictures! Happy Febraury! Can't wait until Spring!
